Navajo Nation Fair - February 2012

lakewheatfields

Navajo Nation Science Fair held in Red Rock State Park, Gallup, New Mexico, February 29, 2012. 15 students from Pinon Accelerated Middel School competed against 154 projects from other Middle and High School students around the Navajo Nation. 7 students from Pinon Accelerated Middle School brought home 7 out of 36 awards.

Despite all of the hardships they encountered since then and the 2-hour grilling they faced when they answered the questions of the judges to defend their project, they were very triumphant in this endeavor. Congratulations to these kids and thank you to all individuals who helped us reach this goal.
