Our business department oversees the financial and business aspects of managing a school district. Because we are a public school, our funds are your funds. We take seriously the responsibility of providing transparency in our reporting and information. We manage accounts payable/receivable, develop budgets, and provide financial reports to the Arizona Department of Education.

Arizona Tax Credits

Reduce your Arizona state taxes by contributing to Piñon USD’s school programs. The tax credit, allowed by Arizona Revised Statute 43-1089.01, allows individuals to receive a tax credit of up to $400 for supporting extracurricular activities in public schools. This credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction of your taxable income regardless of whether or not you have children attending within the district.

To donate, mail or deliver the Tax Credit Contribution Form before December 31, 2013. You can also contact our business office for a contribution form. We thank you for taking the time to support our district through your contribution.
