Business Management students, Tynya Kee and April Judy, myself and Karlene are here in Las Vegas at "Res2020" - the Reservation Economic Summit.
Tynya and April competed last night against 3 other high schools and guess what???! Our girls came in 2nd place! With a win of $5,000!!!! Please congratulate them when you see them at school for all of their hard work and dedication for this competition. They have been working on this since January and when we got to Las Vegas they were matched with Native business owners/mentors, Tim and Nate. Tynya and April did an amazing job. They were poised and confident when pitching their business plan. We couldn't see their nervousness at all. I'm so very proud of them.
