The Pinon Unified School District participates in two assessments from the Navajo Nation Department of Education measuring Diné language comprehension, use, and Diné content standards. Below is a short description of each assessment and the results.
Diné Language Proficiency Assessment - is administered in the Fall for grades: Kindergarten, 4th, 8th, and 12th.
Oral Navajo Language and Culture Test - Standard Based Assessment - is administrated in the Spring for grades: 4th, 8th, and 12th.
